Bon week-end.

Hanging out in my cousin's in Naas is a wonderful way to spend a weekend...
Not that I exactly need the childish side brought out of me, but we always seem to spend the whole time giggling away.
As the three of them are brilliant cooks and bakers, we made a Victoria sponge cake on Friday, and in the morning we made pancakes and french toast!
Indulgent to say the least.

Saturday, April 7

Croustillant.

A chocolate rice crispy cake is about all my kitchenette can manage this Easter. I plan on bringing it to Georgie and Susie's apartment tomorrow.

Friday, March 30

Appétissant.

A lot of baking went on while I was at home. I guess I realised how much I take for granted a large and fully stocked kitchen...
Here are mum's raspberry almond squares, and my attempt at a coffee cake...

Sunday, March 25

Gâteau Marbré.

I baked again. This time a marble cake for Allan, Katie and Sonia who came over last night to catch-up and fill me in on all the Irish goings-on.
We're going to see each other again this Monday evening for a meal or drinks or such.
