Delighted with my purchases today.

I knocked two things off my to-buy list while in town today.

Laura and I started with Urban Outfitters hoping for some sale items, which we weren't lucky with, but I did manage to find my perfect pair of vintage Levi shorts!

Not only that but after a good look around in Forever 21, New Look, and Penney's, I also came across two pairs of cross earrings.

Tick.

Lastly, I found a jewellery storage solution, and another pair of horn earrings in Penney's.

I've filled the pink storage in temporarily, happy to find pockets big enough to fit sunglasses in.

With pockets on either side, it will hang nicely in my wardrobe, making all my rings, bracelets etc.. easy to find.

Cutting up some t-shirts that I bought in the men's section yesterday.
The shops are full of sleeveless shirts,

By cutting off the shoulders of a couple of 6euro tee's from Penney's, I think it gives a bit more of a grungey look, at the same time as being cost efficient.

On Friday before heading off to Amsterdam, I went to Rivetoile with Kat, because I havn't actually been shopping in so long. I needed some basics which I got two of. I still can't find a nice pair of jeggings which is annoying, but luckily I did find this black skirt and I replaced the most beloved black jodphur/leggings from Zara. My other ones were slightly different, but they fell out the window... 17teen floors... I searched but never found. So least I have these ones now anyway.

Here are few recent purchases that I have made in the french sales.
Overall, I think I was a little disappointed as to what collections most of the shops put on sale, for example H&M was far better at home in Ireland, then it is here.
All that seems to be on sale is rather cheap looking knits or flimsy tee-shirts.
Because France has an evident problem with good-value stylish clothing,(you have to spend quite a lot to get quality), the shops that I do shop in are not french-brands.
Having said that, I did get the coat I have been lusting after for the past 2 months at a great price.
I also picked up an unplanned bag from Zara, that I love, and will use for college for the next few months.
A pair of leggings from Stradivarious, and some mittens and a matching headband.
I adore these types of headbands because my ears are always the coldest part of my body.
And with temperatures here dropping daily.. come in handy!
